With the direction of the Church Council and realizing that every member of FUMC MC is given the responsibility of evangelism, the committee goals are to provide:

• A program that shares our church's vision with our community

• A forum for new ideas for evangelism and evaluation of present goals

• Contact and follow-up of visitors to church services

• Information and help for visitors to church services

• A congregational atmosphere that encourages evangelism

• Contact first-time visitors to our church and deliver bread to them

• Provide greeters for worship services

• Provide a Sunday morning receptionist in the church office

• Make phone calls welcoming visitors

• Compile and distribute welcome bags for first time visitors

Our purpose is to invite people to enter into connection with the Christian community as they seek meaning and purpose in their lives. We will keep the Methodist Church's motto of "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors" as our direction to offer fellowship to all regardless of who they are or where they are in their spiritual journey.
