Methodist Day School Parent Information

Volunteer Opportunities: |

Office
Support Staff with smiling
faces needed to help file papers, make labels, make copies, answer the
phones and greet those entering the Day School.

Library
Assistant to help keep the
Day School Library organized and in order. Only requirement is that you
know most of the letters in the alphabet (no Dewy Decimal System, here.)
-
Teacher
Appreciation Committee is
needed to organize monthly or quarterly treats for our wonderful
teachers.
-
Fundraising to assist with
raising extra funds for Day School needs.
-
Take Home
Projects are available for
those who have kid or work obligations that prevent them from coming to
the Day School.

Special
Talents that you can share
with the children. Do you play the guitar, quilt, scuba-dive? Bring your
gear and talk to the kids about it!

Voluteering: |

All Day
School volunteers must have a current background
check on file with the Day School BEFORE
volunteering with the children.

Chick-Fil-A Night: |
|
Stop by,
pick up dinner and the Methodist Day School benefits
by dining out at Chick-fil-A on Spirit Nights. Tell
the cashier that you are representing the Methodist
Day School, request your receipt and place it in the
box marked “Spirit Night.” That evening 10% of the
“Day School” sales will be awarded to our school!
These monies will be used for future playground
renovations.

Chick-Fil-A is located at: 6174 Hwy. 6 at FM 1092 in
Missouri City.
2008-2009 Spirit Nights are the second Wednesday of
each month:
